HORACE HORRISE MISCHIEVOUS SCOUT

Horace Horrise is the UK's funniest, liveliest and naughtiest young person with adventures for adults and teenagers about him and his ever-so-slightly dysfunctional scout friends and family.

MOONWALK is Horace's first ever full-length adventure! It's written but now just needs a front cover. This will include a picture of an embroidered badge that will be given away FREE with the book, and this is where you come in.

Moonwalk
is about a wild night that Horace and half his patrol spend on a mission to win a multi-base incident hike with dozens of teams taking part. The only problem is, the other half of Ravens is in another team led by Melanie and they are equally determined to win. Who wins is the big question.

Win £100
The answer is you could win! At least, you could win £100. Someone has to win. To be in with a chance you need to design the Moonwalk badge. Take a sheet of paper and draw a circle with at least a 10cm diameter.. It can be as large as you like but bear in mind that the badge will end up being 10cm diameter so don't make the wording or part(s) of the design too small. The design inside the circle needs to incorporate:
A campsite
Trees on fire
Eyes in the darkness
The word MOONWALK
The design could include:
Horace
People
Tents
New moon
Map
Desert island

Make sure that your design is bright and colourful. Send your design to Searchline Publishing, Searchline House, 1A Holbrook Lane, Chislehurst, Kent, BR7 6PE by 22nd December 2024.

Don't forget to include your home address so that you can be contacted if you win. Your entry will be returned once a winner has been chosen. Whether you win or not you will be sent a free pin badge / fridge magnet (put on your entry which one you would prefer). This competition is open to all ages as allowances will be made for younger entrants. The winning design will be tidied up before the badges are manufactured.
