One of my chickens has died

Today is a sad day.

One of my chickens has died.

I did try to lighten the mood in the H-C household by telling the daughter of the house that as she was experimenting with veganism Yolko Ono had probably realised that her services were no longer needed and had committed suicide but I didn't succeed.

Yolko Ono has not been forgotten though. She's been plucked, diced, put in an empty Quorn wrapper and stuck in the freezer. There she will stay for a few days. No one who doesn't need to know will be any the wiser and daughter of the house will go on about how Quorn tastes just like real chicken.😎
